ニャースケ氏の上司の上司から連絡が来たそうで、保険はどうなったのと聞かれたそうです。
まだIDが発行されないから、予約は取れていないと伝えたところ、なんだって？！WebのIDを教えてあげるよ！！とついに保険のアカウントにログインするためのIDを教えてもらったそうです。
できるんじゃん！！もっと早く教えてよ！！
ということで、知り合いの方の担当医を教えてもらっていたので、その先生を検索したところ、我々の保険でもカバーされていることがわかりました。
早速、ニャースケ氏がその担当医さんのオフィスに直接電話。初診の予約がまず電話って急にアナログな世界。
自動音声に切り替わって、そもそも電話なのでうまく聞き取れない。何回かチャレンジしてついに予約したいということを伝えることができました😹
とても優しい事務のお姉さんに「メールで問診票を送るから、送り返して下さい」と言われた内容が、下記の通り。メールでよかった。口頭だったら瞬発力がいるので大変でした。

その日のうちに返信しました。私はSSNを取得していないので、身分証明書はパスポートの写真です。
これで一安心かは分かりませんが、大きな一歩前進です。ついに今週16週目に突入している私。
ところで調べたら、テキサス州は6週目以降、中絶できないらしい。想定外。
遺伝子検査をするつもりでいたのですが、異常があった場合、どうすればいいのか。日本は21週目まで中絶可能らしいので、最悪の場合、帰国するしかない。
どうなることやら。。。
